How do I know when my Birth Control Pill (Yasmin) will be working properly?

I'm 19, just married, and have been on Yasmin (YAZ) Birth Control for exactaly 24 days now. I just took my last pink pill in the packet and will start my sugar pills tomorrow. I've always taken them at exactaly the same time every day, with only one exception. My husband and I had unprotected for the first time tonight confident that the pill is working properly, BUT, I have been looking around in the pill details booklet and online but I cannot seem to find an answer. Are the pills working? Or was I suppose to wait until after my sugar pills and my period? Also, on my 14th day (the day I should have been ovulating) I bleed when I urinated. Is that something to be worried about? I read it was normal for the first 1 to 3 months of Yasmin. Please help. I'm still in college and would like to finish before starting a family... We want to be more ready before having a child... thanks.

Losing faith in my marriage?

My husband's twin brother and wife are extremely controlling of him. Since before we began dating they always interfere in his life, telling him what, when, and how to do things. My husband dreads conflict and goes along with most things in order to maintain his relationships. More recently, my husband's twin made a demand on him which is inappropriate and not my husband's responsibility. His twin guilt trips him into doing things that are against most peoples better judgement, so does his wife. I have spoken to my husband about this many times. When he refused to stand up for himself, I intervened because of the stress it has put on our marriage. Nothing has changed except that I have no relationship with his brother anymore because I refuse to sit back and tolerate the abuse. My husband has demonstrated similar non-ertive behavior in other situations as well. For instance, not putting a stop to his ex-girlfriend showing up announced at our house with gifts for his family (they are not and have never been friends since they split), not standing up for me when his family has rudely implied that I have an eating disorder. The list goes on and on. He is a wonderful person whom I love deeply, I'm just not sure I can stay married to someone I am losing respect for... what kind of role model will this man be to a child?

I was just wondering if this is normal children behavior or could it be stress? My two kids and I live with my parents. The house is not that big. The bedroom we sleep in (my old bedroom), has there bunkbed, twin bed for me to sleep on, two chester drawers, a tv on top of one chester drawer and a bathroom. I feel cramped up inside that house. If they are doing something they do not need to do, he will get on to them when I am standing right there. I feel like I need to get on to them , not him , when I am around. If I am out of sight or in town or something he can discipline them of course. Or if my kids want to go over at a friends house (two houses down from us, my dad will say no right in front of me. So you solve the vertical and horizontal components for when he runs 3.5m NofE and find the total horizontal and vertical. To do this you use 3.5sin55 (3.5) to solve vertical and 3.5cos55 (.08) to find horizontal. Add the verticals 3.5+8= 11.5, and the horizontals .08+5+5.8. Then it is 11.5squared + 5.8squared = xsquared. The distance is 12.88 if I am correct and I hope I didn't screw up I didn't really check or look over my work

I've been knowing my boyfriend for approximately nine months now. We were friends for six and have been officially dating for three. Throughout the course of both our friendship and relationship, I have been a combination of happy, confused, and miserable. When we first met, I thought I found someone worth being in a relationship with. He possessed all of the qualities a women seeks for in a man: sweet, caring, compionate, giving, open, and a great communicator. However, he confused me when we first went out on our date (we had been chatting on Facebook and telephone a month prior to going on a first date). When we went out, he was somewhat attentive but was rude; he would hardly look at me when we would talk (only when I wasnt looking), he would walk in front of me, and do other weird things. On the other hand, sometimes he would lightly interact with me. When he dropped me off, he texted me all these messages stating how beautiful he thought I was and that he enjoyed being with me. I didn't get. This wasn't the last time he acted this way. He has done on several occasions when on dates, around mutual friends, or just me being in his presence. He doesn't act like this around other people, whether male or female; just me. I've seen it over and over again. While witnessing this, I was frustrated, confused, and asking myself if he really likes me and wants me to be his girlfriend (which he asked me three times) then why does he act this way. He is extremely giving, and he has showered me with very nice items. He knows that I'm a simple girl and that materialistic things don't really appeal to me. This is one of the reasons he has always wanted me to be his girl. I am a 24 yr old male that lives in Ohio. I went to a private college for two years (mostly to play football) and realized I could continue there and finish my degree (which I hated) and keep playing ball or I could give up football and transfer schools. I ended up going to Ohio State and stopped playing football to chase my dream of becoming an architect. I entered the program and did well (mostly As and Bs) for three years. In my senior year I started running into money issues because my private school cost me over 28k a year and OSU was about 12k a year. I have no credit really and my parents have limited funds and low credit so I can't go to them. I finished my last year and now I am 5 courses short of graduating. However, I find myself in a position where I can't pay for school anymore. I barely paid for my last year and due to the lack of credit I can not get loans (tried sallie mae, great lakes, private loans, etc. ) and my parents don't qualify for Plus loans or anything. I now am 6 months removed and have student loans from Fafsa (around 65k total) calling me daily about payments and no solid job because no one will hire me because I don't technically have a degree even with 6 years of school. I have asked a lot of people and I can't find any help. What should I do? Any ideas on where I could turn for work with architecture related skills? Upgrades on 1990 horizon-omni?

your question is a little unclear to me. if you meant sets of clubs then i would say go with a set that has a large cavity in the back of the face. this is more forgiving on mis hit shots. if your just starting costco sells some nice sets their called golden bears and they are pretty nice for a starter set. if you have some money to burn then i would suggest some callaways. they tend to have the largest cavity backing ive seen. if your looking for individual irons to replace the longer ones 3 and 4 irons then i would suggest a hybrid wood/iron. their much easier to hit and get the ball in the air, and for a bran i would suggest adamsgolf. they kind of were the first to make them successfully and still do a good job for a fair price

I am in the Marine Corps and yesterday I took part in a color guard at my church. The service acknowledged the military service of the people in attendance and those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. My obligation required me to attend all three services, the first service had traditional music (hyms for a generally older crowd) and the following two have contemporary music for the younger generations. Before and after the first services I had people coming up to me thanking me for my service and with stories about when they were in the core. But during the tradition service I have more people that came up to me with eyes that left a lasting impression on me. The second and third service not so much. Why is this so? I am not making the claim that my congregation speaks for every single social generation. I am just wondering if America's generations are truly grasping our troop's loss of life. You could try the super nanny method lol. It sounds silly but it always seems to work for parents on the show. During seated leg presses, what can I do to protect my knees?

If you're doing these at a gym you didn't mention which leg press machine you were using. The gym I go to has three different types. The most used is the seated incline press. If that's what you're using try using a little lighter weight. (you also didn't say how much you were pressing) As long as you don't feel any pain in the knee you should be OK with it. If there is a seated, straight out, leg press machine use that. It requires far less weight to accomplish the same results and doesn't put a lot of weight pressure on the knees. Before you do the leg presses do squats on a Smith Machine if you have one. That will warm up the knees for the presses. If you feel any pain either lower the weight or stop the movement.

14 month old has chronic sickness....?

My daughter just turned 14 mths on the 18th and she is always sick! She was enrolled in daycare a few mths ago and every since then she has had a constant cough, congestion, and runny nose. Ohio Mailbox Laws?

The snowplow has taken out our mailbox twice now. The 1st time it just took the box off the pole, and it happened after the snow had stopped, so my husband was able to find our mail by walking up & down the street. This time it took the pole out of the ground. My husband found the pole & the box, but no mail, so we don't know if we just didn't get any mail today or if it's burried under the snow. The mailbox had to be wired/taped back together the 1st time, but this time it's a total loss. The city says they'd be more than happy to replace it if we can prove it was the plow that took it out (of course the plow marks aren't enough - evidently we have to have videotape of it happening to prove anything). My husband wants to concrete around the pole so that next time the plow breaks, not our pole & mailbox. Is that legal? Would we have to pay to have the plow fixed if it did bend/break?

Are these symptoms related? Help with fatigue and insomnia!?

So. I've been to my doctor several times over a few problems I've been having. He is relating it to stress, work and school. About a month and a half ago I suddenly became very fatigued. All of the time. I'm always tired, and I get a good amount of sleep at night. Well, around 2 weeks I started having some sort of insomnia. It takes me FOREVER to get to sleep and then I wake up every hour on the hour like clockwork. And now to top it all off I've noticed my muscles are very "crampy" for lack of a better term, they're always tight and feel like they're going to spasm at any moment (maybe you know the sensation I'm referring to), especially in my lower legs more specifically my calves. Does anyone know if any of these conditions are linked? My doctor believes it only to be stress, but I'm rather use to work and school nothing is occuring out of the norm. ANY help would be greatly greatly appreciated!!! Thank you!

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years and he grew up in a very low income family. His parents and brother are chain smokers, he told me he would never smoke and that its disgusting. He always strives to be better then them. He joined the army and recently got back from basic training in august. Two weeks later he found out he's deploying to Afghanistan on Nov. 10th of this year. I've caught him about 8 times smoking a cigarette when he was home on leave and he wants to stop but he said it relieves his stress... He doesn't know what to do to or how to redirect his stress. You should DEFINITELY have an honest conversation with your manager about this person. As I understand it, this person isn't even an employee of the company (but is a temp employee?). Don't use the words "hostile work environment." Those words bring up so many emotions in HR. Just explain to your manager that this person is consistently rude and demanding with you, and that she has threatened and repeatedly demeaned you, and that you don't feel "safe" around her. But play the role of the 'good guy' here. Tell your manager that you really DO want to get along with this person, but that you need for it to be a two way street. Honesty is the best policy. You're not complaining if it is making your job and the environment more difficult for you. HR *wants* to know when this kind of thing is going on. Good luck with your situation.

With the way the world is today. It's been said that, knowing exactly who lives next door to you can be very important.
