Why are fed babies so fussy?

Maybe the baby isn't getting enough milk? My son wasn't doing well with feeding because he was always hungry. I switched him to formula and he was able to down 4 ounces at a feeding and was much happier. Maybe your friend should pump to see if she is producing enough or to help increase her supply.
