S!ut stud debate, if some guys are pigs, why would some women want to be pigs?

A female friend of mine & I recently had a little talk about this issue & she brought up the notion that some guys are complete pigs (which I agreed) but she also pointed out a the s!ut stud double standard. I asked her if she thought that some guys were pigs for just wanting nothing but ,why would you want to become a pig yourself. If your easy to get into the sack then your easy, man or woman. It's not good or bad, unless of course you get STD's,unplanned pregnancies etc. But the whole premise behind defeating this double standard seems to be either to behave like man pigs & not be deemed a s!ut or to group women and men in the s!ut category? Why aren't we both, men & women, trying our best to not be sluts,& trying to remember what's most important about relationships in the first place. Trust,love, companionship, etc. shouldn't be the focal point or crowned piece of a relationship, getting to know the other person should be which is a never ending reward in itself.Just had to rant but I really hate how focused this society has become, we're fighting to become pigs.
