Friends broken heart?

my friend and his girlfriend who he loved so much he even proposed and she said yes but suddenly 2 weeks ago she broke up With him and now hes not leaving his home and when he comes to my house all he does is lie on my couch, not talk then hel randomly start crying. im always with him making sure he doesnt attempt suicide and im not sure i can keep up with this, i need help i don't know what to do to get him over his brake up and could really use some help
