Who is baseball's most influential player?

If I had to guess I'd pick Derek Jeter. Captain of the most successful sports franchise in the world. Considered one of the greatest shortstops of all time. Close to 3000 hits. 7 American League Pennants and 5 World Series Championships. He has always been a cl act throughout his entire career. A great role model for all young people in the United States. Can't think of anyone else with that kind of success.
