Is it really that disrespectful?

I was hanging with my friend, and my bf (Not technically, we just like each other and can't date) and I said I bet I was gonna be a virgin until at least 18, and then Wes (bf) looked me up and down and said "I bet you won't even make it to 17" My friend said that was like him calling me a slut? Is it really? I thought it was a compliment, and that he was calling me hot o__0
