Why do potential girlfriends give TMI up front?

I just had another girlfriend give me some TMI (too much information) up front. We were just chatting and she brought up the fact that she "played stepmom for a few years". So, I then figured her never-married line was a bit of BS. Then, I had another potential girlfriend tell me that she used to play in the shower with some middle aged guy when she was younger. Then, I had a quiet "churchy" gal tell me that she gave her home keys to some con artist who later stole her blind. I could go on and on with these stories, but my point is: "Why do women share these stories before we even start dating?" I am a pretty moral guy, but I don't care too much about a woman's past if she just keeps it to herself. I dropped every one of these girls after hearing these stories. Am I being too sensitive??
