How do you make ringtones from your own music?

I got the RAZR2 with Verizon and I have a ton of music that can be made into ringtones, a combo of iTunes format songs, MP3 songs, and even WMA songs. Is there a way to make ringtones with the songs I have? Do I need some special software? If so, where do I get it?
