Neighbors! How well do you know the people who live next door to you?

With the way the world is today. It's been said that, knowing exactly who lives next door to you can be very important. While a lot of us want to stay off to ourselves with the thinking "i'll mind my business, if you mind yours" But with the new stats of how many rapists,child molesters and neighborhood crimes that go on these days. How important is it to you to know or get to know your neighbors? I had a close friend tell me a while back.. "well you and I live in an upscale neighborhood so we don't have to worry about that" and three weeks after she said that, a husband in her neighborhood (that she and her husband knew very well) killed his enitre family and then turned the gun on himself. These days no neighborhood is safe from violence. It just happens more frequently in some neighborhoods than others.
