Did Jesus (mpbuh) wear velvet trimmed with fur? Or wear a crown made of gold and jewels?

I guess this question is directed at Catholics. It is genuine, I am trying to understand your theology (mu sister is Catholic) and I read an article about the current popes' fashion sense, and one quote was that "the pope does not wear Prada, he wears christ". Another article I read mentioned the popes expensive fur and velvet cloaks and linen and cotton garments. Does this mean it is cathoic belief that Jesus wore these types of materials? Is the pope limited to these fabrics? What fabrics are nuns permitted to wear? Are there certain colors/fabrics that represent a persons standing within the church?
