PETRIFIED of impacted wisdom tooth removal!(oral surgeons, dentists need your advice also!)?

What you saw on the x-ray is that the tooth is a little bit above the bone (soft tissue does not appear on xrays) however it is still below the gums which is why you can't see it.They will make an incision behind that last tooth in your mouth exposing the wisdom tooth and then remove it, since yours isn't completely covered by bone it should come out pretty easily.I was awake for the removal of my wisdom teeth and it wasn't bad at all.The extraction will probably take an hour, maybe less. You will be fine!
