Lip piercing help, please?

I got my lip pierced about a week ago, and I think its infected. On the outside, the area around the hole isn't red, its like the color of my skin except a darker tone. Sometimes, it oozes stuff. If you watch it, it looks yellowish, but when it comes out, its clear. Then on the inside, theres a red spot underneath my hole and sometimes theres this white stuff that comes out of the hole. The only thing is, its not like puss. Its kinda of harder. If I didn't know any better, I would say its cartilage because it isn't squishy all all. Oh, and sometimes, the piercing itches. Do you think its infected? If so, what should I put on it? I've been cleaning it with peroxide and rubbing alcohol (ouch). Should I switch to salt water? Thank you!
