Deer backstrap is being ruined HELP! thought it was chicken its cookin?

defrosted in microwave 9 minutes till sorta brown edge.now its in oven at 350,i have NO tinfoil or ingrediants an wanna save it from ruin.its inch or more thick an size of 2 chicken .anything that can be done? its ben at 350 near 12 minutes now.i have only a skillet or oven HELP! bros freakin out it cost alot help
